Evgeny Kuznetsov will miss the Capitals-Devils game on Saturday due to an upper body injury. It is not clear when Kuznetsov was injured or how.
The Capitals announced the news after the warming up.

Kuznetsov trained on Friday. Athletic’s Tarik El-Bashir posted a video of Kuzy leaving for training early to work on handling his stick.

Alex Ovechkin (playing time decision) and Carl Hagelin, who had a maintenance day on Friday, will play.
In 11 games this season, Kuznetsov has two goals, four assists and six points.
The Capitals will face the Devils on Sunday.
