Even colder air coming towards us

ORLANDO, Fla. – We’ll start a cold Tuesday in Central Florida, but Wednesday will be even colder.

There is a wind chill alert for most of Central Florida, and a freeze warning is in effect on Wednesday for northern parts of the region.

Many areas were in the 1940s on Tuesday morning, but it appears they are in the 1930s. The wind will continue to rise during the day, leading to a very cold afternoon.

Orlando will warm up to 56 for the afternoon high. The average high in Orlando on this date is 72. The average low is 50. The record high is 87, established in 1985.

The overnight lows will be in the 30s.

Wednesday’s high will be above 50s.

The highs will reach 68 on Thursday and mid-70 on Friday and Saturday.

The chances of rain do not return at the weekend, at 30%.
