The ‘Westworld’ star, who named Marilyn Manson as her attacker earlier this week, shared more in her Instagram story on Saturday morning.
Evan Rachel Wood on Saturday morning shared an additional detail about her alleged abuse of Marilyn Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner.
The actress wrote in a story on Instagram that she had to file a police report last year after becoming aware of a threat of disclosure of photos of herself by a minor.
“On December 19, I had to file a police report after being alerted to threats made by @leslee_lane and @lindsayusichofficial (Brian’s wife) for plotting to release photos of me when I was MINOR, after receiving large quantities of drugs and alcohol, after Brian performed on Halloween in Las Vegas to “ruin my career” and “shut me up,” wrote the Westworld Star.
She included a copy of the police report, with personal and contact information erased. The Hollywood Reporter got in touch with Wood’s representatives.
Earlier this week, Wood named Manson as his alleged abuser. She declared on Instagram, “I’m tired of living in fear of retaliation, slander or blackmail”, and wrote that Manson treated her like a teenager and abused her “horribly” for years. Wood and Manson had a relationship when the actress was 18 and Manson was 36, and the two were briefly engaged in 2010.
On Thursday, Wood shared a letter on Instagram that Senator Kevin Parker wrote to the acting US Attorney General, requesting “a full investigation into the charges” that she submitted.
Four other women also made complaints about Manson, including physical and psychological abuse, some details of which Wood shared in his Instagram stories. Manson was later released by CAA the day after his label, Loma Vista Recordings, said he would no longer promote his current album. It will also no longer be associated with TV shows American gods and Freak show.
Manson wrote in an Instagram post this week, “Obviously, my art and my life have been magnets for controversy, but these recent statements about me are horrible distortions of reality. My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with partners of similar minds. Regardless of how – and why – others are choosing to misrepresent the past, that’s the truth. “
He continues to maintain that the allegations are false.
