Evan Bass estimated falling in love with Carly Waddell in Bachelor in Paradise as much as the fans enjoyed watching it happen.
As if it weren’t hard enough for the couple to announce their separation on Wednesday, December 23, Evan posted a poignant comment on social media later in the day.
In June, the 38-year-old erectile dysfunction specialist shared a beautiful photo back on Instagram to mark the couple’s three-year wedding anniversary. “There has never been a better love story for paradise,” he captions the photo that showed him and Carly covered in body paint since their times in Paradise in 2017.
On December 23, in light of the sad news, a fan commented in the post, “It didn’t age well,” followed by a frown.
Evan succinctly responded to the fan’s comment with “it’s still true”.
Evan and Carly, who released a statement that day referring to the choice to separate as “difficult”, are the parents of a 13-month-old son Charles “Charlie” Wolf and two-year-old daughter Isabella “Bella” Evelyn. In addition, Evan has three children from a previous marriage.
