ESPN Events added DePaul to Female Jimmy V Classic presented by Corona Extra. No. 20 Blue Demons will face No. 5 Louisville on Friday, December 4, at 6:30 pm ET on ESPN. DePaul replaces No. 3 UConn, which withdrew due to health protocols.
THE Jimmy V Classic Women now it will also present the No. 8 NC State at No. 1 in South Carolina on Thursday, December 3, at 7 pm on ESPN2.
Named after legendary college basketball coach Jim Valvano, the Jimmy V Classic annually raises money and awareness for the V Foundation for Cancer Research. The women’s classic debuted in 2002.
