Enjoy more immersive experiences with S Pen and audio on the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 + with the latest device updates – Samsung Global Newsroom

Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7 + are versatile tablets designed to provide users with connected and uninterrupted device experiences for work and play.

After a series of updates that boost the ecosystem that came for the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 + last month, several exciting new updates are set to provide users with even more pleasant experiences with S Pen and Galaxy Buds Pro.

Do more with your S Pen

As part of a software update that will arrive in the first quarter of 2021,1 you will be able to enjoy more continuous experiences with your S Pen. Text box areas conventionally serviced by keyboards – like address boxes – can now be filled using your S Pen.two This means that anything you write on them will be instantly converted to digital text, including punctuation marks – you simply need to draw a ‘v’ between words to leave a space and draw ‘⌒’ to connect separate words.

For more natural note-taking experiences on Samsung Notes, a new type of pen will also be released as part of this software update. Once selected,3 the ‘Pen to text’ option allows you to write down your handwritten notes and will instantly convert them to digital text.

Available in more than 80 languages4 and capable of detecting any punctuation and spacing, the ‘Text Pen’ option removes any need for you to place your S Pen when using Samsung Notes and provides more options for typing tools.

Simply capture, scan and edit with Samsung Notes

Those using the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 + to scan documents will enjoy being able to scan documents using the Camera app on their devices. As part of the latest update, this tool has become much easier to access for those who want to scan and edit a document in Samsung Notes. Just tap the ‘Attach’ icon in the application, scan your document and start taking notes directly on the scanned document.

Enjoy multidimensional sound with 360 audio

Today, we are all spending more time than ever enjoying videos and other multimedia content at home on our personal devices. Presented together with Galaxy Buds Pro,5 the 360 Audio feature allows you to enjoy 360 degree surround sound when watching a video on the Galaxy Tab S7 or S7 +. The intelligent motion tracking sensor will identify your media’s sound direction while you enjoy content on the Tab S7 or S7 +. In sync with head movements, the headphones’ sound volumes will be adjusted to provide a powerful and immersive audio experience.
