Endorsing LeBron’s ‘Dream’ to free Kelly Loeffler’s Atlanta WNBA team (in addition to suggesting partners!)

You have probably heard that a seismic shift has occurred politically, socially and otherwise, largely thanks to the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream. They started pushing rid Kelly Loeffler of the United States Senate, ending with Reverend Raphael Warnock defeating her and really doing what she never did: Win an election race.

Warnock’s victory alone sparked the national exuberance of individuals who seek democracy and want to get rid of it. no lips with face from the chair of the majority leader in the Senate. And then, last night, LeBron James publicly pondered buying the Dream.

So this immediately turns on two things: the first is, what would the group of potential owners look like? Loeffler’s net worth is reportedly $ 800 million, and James is supposed to be around $ 500 million. (And yes, the net value, like plus / minus, is an imperfect statistic, but it provides an indicator for navigating that.) For James, at least, that number will continue to rise and probably has already increased, so it is entirely possible that the the group with which he associates is only very large. We will research some real responses to your tweet, as there were many comments about participation, and many seemed to be deadly serious.

Other names James could partner with? Let’s speculate and, perhaps, speak to the universe.

In

The legendary hip-hop artist, who James loves, has made many inroads outside of music, particularly with its venture capital firm, Queensbridge Venture Partners. Supposedly with a net worth of $ 70 million, far above a previously alleged $ 17 million several years ago, Nas saw its monetary value rise after investments in applications like Lyft, DropBox, Genius, SeatGeek, Pluto TV, Ring and others. As a longtime Nas listener, I have long speculated that he would enter the sports business at some point.

Diddy

The magnate, the producer, Revolt TV and the founder of Bad Boy, and he’s worth it almost $ 1 billion. They are together, they raised money together, and Diddy had seen sports property before, going as far as bidding for the Carolina Panthers. For obvious reasons, he would probably be more welcome at the WNBA, but it’s not his fault, it’s the NFL.

Maverick Carter

More than just “LeBron’s son”, as he and Rich Paul are often unfairly labeled, Carter’s rapidly growing equity is supposedly $ 50 million. However, this could increase rapidly in the coming years. Together with James, Carter is the co-founder of SpringHill Entertainment, as well as founder of LRMR and Uninterrupted. Carter would naturally be involved in any venture his business partner and best friend embarks on, so, of course, he gets a mention.

Drake

It is slightly surprising that Drake’s reported net worth is less than $ 200 million, but it is more than enough to contribute to this specific endeavor. Drake and James have been fans of each other since the four-time Grammy-winning Canadian artist entered the market in 2009. He has been a Toronto Raptors global ambassador, and raps lovingly about Atlanta since then So Far Gone. We know about your sports fandom, so this is a game.

The second thing about James’ tweet is the hope that he will move on. James quotes Malcolm X and has was seen with his book publicly, but some question whether it really ended. So, hopefully, your Dream is not a virtual sign, because it could start a trend of black ownership (and other minorities) in whiter sports circles. It would also help to attract the eye to the real WNBA basketball games, instead of people (not James, but others) defending them on social media whenever it is fashionable.

Also, did you see the future All-Star and 2020 All-Rookie Team, Chennedy Carter, play? She’s cool, bruh.
