Emma Bunton says her fiance Jade Jones is ‘DESPERATE’ because she has another child

Emma Bunton revealed that her fiance Jade Jones is ‘desperate’ for her to have another child.

The Spice Girls star, 44, who has children Beau, 13, and Tate, 9, with her longtime partner, 41, also joked that her ‘ovaries bounce’ every time she sees a baby.

Speaking on the Clemmie Telford Honestly podcast, Emma admitted that she was not sure if she would have another child, as it is a ‘big deal’.

And in addition to the bride Jade desperate for another baby, the star revealed that her two children even asked for a brother for Christmas.

Emma said: ‘My two children asked for a baby this Christmas. I say, “It is not happening!” They are desperate for another brother.

– Also, every time I see a baby, my ovaries bounce. My other half is desperate, but you know … I think I had two beautiful, healthy babies. So yes… I won’t do it again, I don’t think so, it’s a great request! ‘

Talking about her two children, Emma admitted that she wants Beau and Tate to stay in their home forever, as she is so protective and is constantly bathing them in hugs.

She said: ‘It was a real tug of war when my children started to grow up because I am constantly grabbing and caressing them, without wanting this part to end. It’s a struggle.

‘My two are so affectionate, caring and affectionate, and I have a 13 year old son, I am happy. Beau wants hugs all the time and is loving and open, so I’m lucky.

‘I would love for my children to live in my house forever and ever. I’m so protective of my kids, but it’s a good balance because my other half is brilliant and he’s more relaxed … so we have a good balance in that. ‘

Elsewhere during the conversation, Emma was moved by her fiancee Jade. The couple has been together since 1998, but split up several times before they reconciled in 2004 and announced their engagement in 2011.

The star said: ‘My other half is Aquarius – we are both Aquarius. But it seems to work. We’ve been together for 20 years. ‘

Revealing the secrets of her long love, Emma admitted that they are ‘best friends’ and ‘like’.

She noted, “I think we are best friends. We are similar. But, you know, different. Yes, it just works. We are the same.

‘We spend a lot of time together. And we really like that. We can sit and not talk and watch television and just … we know each other very well, which is good. ‘

Emma sweetly added: ‘I love him, he’s great. He’s absolutely brilliant. ‘

During the podcast, the star also reflected on the peak of his career and admitted that she was lying in bed crying when she joined the Spice Girls, as it was her first time away from home.

Emma realized that her bandmates had sweetly joined her at the time and she knew from that moment that they would have a ‘lasting’ friendship.

The singer was about 19 when she joined the Spice Girls and, as such, earned the nickname Baby Spice in the girl group.

She said: ‘The first night I got there [to the house] I shared it with Victoria and I was lying in bed and I was very upset because it was my first night away from home and I thought I would either lie here and cry alone or I will talk to the girls.

‘So I got up and said, girls, this is my first time away from home and I feel like this is going to be special, but this is my first time away from home, I feel very sick at home and I miss the my mom and i don’t know what to do.

‘They all hugged me and I knew that was it. I knew I needed to be frank with them if I wanted to be a lasting friendship. ‘

The star joined the band in 1994 with Mel B, Mel C, Victoria Beckham and Geri Horner. The group split in 2001, but later met in 2007 and 2012.

In 2019, the Spice Girls got together – without fifth member Victoria – for a summer tour in the UK, Ireland and Scotland.

Elsewhere during the Honestly podcast, sponsored by Vodafone, Emma also admitted that things would be different in the current climate, she said: ‘Being a Spice Girl then and now would have been completely different.

‘I was only 19 when [the band] started and I don’t know how I would have handled social media and photos at that time. ‘

Emma remembered how she remembered the first time someone took a picture of her at a club with her friends on her camera phone, admitting that she ‘scared’ her.

The singer also noted how the band’s tours have changed, with fans now on their mobile devices.

Emma said, ‘Our first [Spice Girls] the tour was amazing and i remember looking and seeing faces and now you look and see only phones. I think ‘I really hope you’re taking it’. ‘

Although the star praised the technology and its use during the coronavirus pandemic and blockages.

Emma joked: ‘I’ve become good at Zoom tests! I thought it was funny when we did the Zooms.

‘I used to stay with my girlfriends or as couples, actually it was pretty cool because you are usually in a noisy bar somewhere and you have five minutes to talk to each person, in the meantime we could really talk for a few hours and it was really great. ‘
