Elon Musk is currently in Texas with his family.
The CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, 49, revealed this detail with a sincere family portrait he shared with Twitter Monday morning.
In the photo, Musk is holding his son X AE A-XII next to his girlfriend, Canadian singer Grimes, 32. His 10-month-old son seems particularly interested in a bouquet of flowers as they put on sunglasses while looking.

Musk’s two-word caption simply says: “Starbase, Texas”.
The tech billionaire’s tweet received more than 281,400 likes from fans and comes days after Musk says he plans to create a city called Starbase in the state of Texas.
“Creating the city of Starbase, Texas,” he tweeted on Tuesday, March 2. “From there to Mars, and from there to the stars.”

And Musk seems totally committed to moving his business operations from California to the lone star state.
His company, SpaceX, has submitted an incorporation inquiry to the Cameron County Commissioners Court to indicate its interest in incorporating Boca Chica Village – an unincorporated community located near Kopernik Shores.
“If SpaceX and Elon Musk want to go that route, they must obey all state incorporation statutes,” says a statement from Cameron County Judge Eddie Treviño Jr .. “Cameron County will process all appropriate petitions in in accordance with applicable law. “

The village of Boca Chica is within walking distance of the SpaceX Launch Facility, SpaceX South Texas Tracking Station and SpaceX Launch Control Center, located in Brownsville. It is also not far from the Stargate Technology Center at the University of Texas, in the Rio Grande Valley, where students study advanced radio astronomy and more.
In December, Musk confirmed to the editor-in-chief of the Wall Street Journal, Matt Murray, at a CEO Council Summit, that he had moved to Texas.

His action resulted from the frustration he had with the coronavirus blocking orders that were put in place by Governor Gavin Newsom and other local officials.
In May, Musk’s automotive company Tesla sued Alameda County, California. for imposing a mandatory stoppage of COVID-19 that supposedly conflicted with state orders, but in the end the lawsuit was filed.

“Frankly, this is the last straw. Tesla will now move its HQ and future programs to Texas / Nevada immediately,” Musk tweeted at the time. “If we maintain Fremont’s manufacturing activity, it will be [dependent] about how Tesla will be treated in the future. Tesla is the last carmaker left in California. “
