Grimes is showing off the unique hairstyle she gave her 8-month-old son on Thursday, January 28.
She shared images of herself giving X Æ A-Xii a “Viking” haircut while he played with colorful toys (and undoubtedly top of the line) in the bathtub.
The “Oblivion” singer reached the bathtub and used scissors to transform his blond hair into a Mohawk-style cut that is sure to be fashionable at the Zoom daycare center someday. Grimes captioned the striking look, “I’m not sure the haircut was good, but he’s Viking now.”
The musician welcomed the baby in May 2020 with her partner Elon Musk, the brain behind Tesla and SpaceX.
Grimes noted that the ‘doing was inspired by one of his favorite TV shows, the BBC The last kingdom, which is being streamed on Netflix. The historical drama revolves around the Vikings’ invasion of England in the 9th century, based on The Saxon Stories series of books by Bernard Cornwell.
