Armie Hammer’s ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers is speaking out.
The 34-year-old actor is currently involved in a scandal that began last month, when private messages allegedly written by him – were not verified – leaked containing images of sexual fantasies, in addition to references to cannibalism.
He has since stepped down from various posts as public criticism continued to grow, and now Chambers, who split from Hammer last summer, has spoken out.
The 38-year-old star shared a simple photo of a sunset on the beach on Instagram on Monday.

“For weeks, I’ve been trying to process everything that happened. I’m shocked, heartbroken and devastated,” she started in the caption. “Disgust aside, I am listening and will continue to listen and educate myself on these delicate matters. I didn’t know how much I didn’t know.”
Chambers then said that he supports “any victim of aggression or abuse” and encouraged anyone who has gone through such a trial to seek help to heal.
“At this point, I will not comment on this matter anymore,” he said. “My only focus and attention will continue to be on our children, my work and healing during this incredibly difficult period.”

Chambers shares two children with Hammer: Harper Grace, 6, and Ford Armand Douglas, 4.
She concluded, “Thank you for all the love and support, and I thank you in advance for your continued kindness, respect and consideration for our children and me as we find ways to move on.”

The actor was also accused of alleged “demonic” behavior by his 22-year-old ex, Paige Lorenze.

Last month, Lorenze told Fox News that “early in” their relationship, Hammer reportedly expressed his desire to consume his ribs, as well as introducing her to an “open, polyamorous relationship” involving BDSM.
Several other women have made similar claims, but Hammer maintains his innocence.

“These statements about Mr. Hammer are patently false. Any interactions with that person, or any partner of his, were completely consensual, as they were fully discussed, agreed upon and mutually participatory. The stories that are being perpetuated in the media are an attempted mistake to presenting a one-sided narrative with the aim of tarnishing Mr. Hammer’s reputation, and the communications of the individuals involved prove it, “his lawyer, Andrew Brettler, told Fox News in a statement at the time.
Meanwhile, after his departure from “Shotgun Wedding” in the midst of the supposed message scandal, Hammer said: “I am not responding to these allegations, but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot in good conscience now I leave children for 4 months to make a film in the Dominican Republic, “he told Variety. “Lionsgate is supporting me in this and I am grateful to them for that.”
Reps for Hammer did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.
