Elden Ring claimed online concept art leaks; The design of some enemies will be similar to that of Bloodborne

A new view of From Software’s Elden Ring was provided today by a well-known Chinese content creator from the Soul series, who shared a supposed concept art for the game.

In a new video that was removed shortly after the live broadcast, Longqi Bangbangtang, a well-known Chinese content creator, showed a new concept art showing two monsters. One of them looks closer than we saw in Bloodborne.

Elden Ring is in the polishing phase; The game will be very similar to Dark Souls – Rumor

Reddit user kevinD26 provided a summary of the now removed video. Like other leaks suggested, Elden Ring will be similar to Dark Souls, but with a much larger map, dynamic climate and day and night cycle. The Chinese content creator also said that the game was developed in the first half of 2020, and is currently being polished. As suggested by the leaked concept art, Elden Ring’s enemy design will be more complex, and some of the new enemy designs were influenced by Bloodborne.

  • The game world is based on the Norse mythology world tree and also references something from Celtic mythology.
  • The gameplay is similar to Dark Souls, but the map is much larger, it includes dynamic weather and day / night alternation. Imagine that you fight a boss overnight, he said, and the weather changes from sunny to thunderstorm.
  • Modeling enemies is more complex, and there will be blood-style cthulu enemies.
  • The game’s development phase was completed in the first half of 2020 and is now in the polishing phase. The game will be released in 2021, he is sure. It is possible to see a new trailer after the Japanese New Year.

Although Longqi Bangbangtang is definitely a reliable source, we still have to take everything with care until From Software finally starts showing the game. If the game’s development is really complete, it definitely won’t be long before finally seeing Elden Ring in action.

Elden Ring is released on an as yet unconfirmed release date on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
