EL PASO, Texas – The city of El Paso on Thursday unveiled a new Covid-19 vaccination website that it said included an improved registration form and online scheduling system.
The new website, which is now operational and staff described as “easy to use”, can be found at EPCovidVaccine.com. Telephone registrations can also be made at 21-COVID (212-6843).
“Individuals who have already registered and received a confirmation email notifying them that they have already registered, do not need to register again, as the place in the queue is reserved “, said the city in a note. From now on, this will be the website used for new registrations.

- Once registered, El Pasoans will be notified of the availability of the vaccine and informed of the next steps.
- As vaccines become available, registrants will advance the queue and receive an email and text message from this new scheduling system notifying them that they are eligible to reserve the vaccine.
- Those who register will receive a unique registration ID that allows them to schedule their vaccination online. After booking, individuals will receive a confirmation email and / or text with the booking details. Appointments cannot be transferred to another person.
Those who registered at the city hall, but did not have or provided e-mail or cell phone, will be called to the landline number provided during the registration process for scheduling.
The authorities asked those who registered on the city website, but ended up receiving the vaccine from another provider, to send an email to [email protected] to be removed from the list so that others can be booked more quickly.
City leaders said this updated website will always have the latest details on the current vaccination priority list followed by the El Paso health department, as well as a list of other potential local vaccine providers.
Those currently eligible for priority vaccines include:
- Phase 1 Group 1A: Health service providers and first and last respondents on the immediate front line of responding to the pandemic and at high risk of exposure.
- Phase 1, Group 1B: People aged 65 and over and people aged 16 and over with at least one chronic medical condition, such as diabetes, high blood pressure and cancer.
The authorities also offered a warning about online scammers with the launch of the new website.
“The city of El Paso is offering the vaccine free of charge to the public and will not ask for your social security number or financial / bank information as part of the vaccination dispensation process. However, we do ask for your health insurance information. If you do not have insurance , will still receive the vaccine at no cost, “said the city statement.
