Edward “Bud” Kent Sunderman, 78, of Cazenovia, passed away on March 10, 2021. Bud left his children, Eden and Shayne (Connie) Sunderman, who loved him very much, and his brothers, Gary (Margie) and Mark (Jan ) Sunderman, his aunt Judy Hull and his best friend, William (Linda) McCall, whom he loved as a brother; his ex-wife, Olivia, and nieces and nephews. He was deceased by his mother, Janice C. Sunderman and by his father, Edward A. Sunderman.
Bud owned and managed his fourth generation family business, Sunderman’s Plumbing and Heating, with his son, Shayne, and earlier with his brothers in Cazenovia. Bud also lived in Saratoga Springs, NY, where he managed Frank Orisek’s plumbing and heating for many years before moving back to Cazenovia. Bud retired in Manning, SC, in 2008, where he made wonderful friends for life.
Bud loved life, he loved to organize and supervise and he was very good at these things – from NASCAR’s annual journey to Watkins Glen, NY, to his golf league on Thursdays in Manning, SC. Bud liked people, socialized and was happier when he was with friends and family. There are many joyful memories sitting on your best friend’s “balcony” overlooking Lake Marion, South Carolina. Bud will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
