The first episode of Allen v. Farrow uses more than three minutes of the audio edition of Skyhorse’s Woody Allen’s autobiography without permission, The purpose of nothing. It is our understanding that the remaining episodes make similar unauthorized use of the audiobook. This blatant appropriation of Mr. Allen’s intellectual property is unquestionably a violation of copyright under existing legal precedent. The viewer of the series must take into account the unethical conduct of the producers when evaluating the history of the alleged sensationalist and lustful documentary.
