Eagle River native Natalie Decker to compete in the Xfinity Series

EAGLE RIVER, Wis. (WSAW) – Natalie Decker, a native of Eagle River, announced that she has signed a contract to run on the Xfinity Series for the NASCAR 2021 season. The deal is with Ryan Sieg Racing (RSS) and sponsored by Red Street Records.

“The process of moving to Xfinity has been something we’ve talked about since 2020,” said Decker. “It was going to happen. It was just how we would make it happen. We worked very hard throughout the off-season, and now with Red Street Records on board. It was assembled so fast. “

Decker is just one step away from the highest level of racing in all of NASCAR. As a female driver, she wants to set a standard that other girls can admire and strive to follow.

“It means a lot to me to show everyone that they need to see that their goals can happen, and you just have to work hard at it and be the only woman this year on the Xfinity Series, that’s incredible,” said Decker. “To begin with, just to be a NASCAR athlete, there are not many NASCAR drivers. However, this is so cool that I am also one of the only women at NASCAR. “

Decker will ride in car # 23 with Grammy-winning artist Jason Crabb on the hood of the car.

Decker also added that his goals do not stop there. She wants to compete in the Cup Series in the near future.
