EA founded a new studio to work on the long-awaited ‘Skate 4’

EA has formed a new studio to develop the next Skate game. On Wednesday, the publisher announced the existence of Full Circle, which, like the previous developer of Skate, Black Box, will be based in Vancouver, Canada. EA chose Daniel McCulloch, who was previously the head of Xbox Live at Microsoft, to lead Full Circle as general manager. He will be joined by two veterans of the series, Deran Chung and Chris “Cuz” Parry, whom EA claims will serve as the game’s creative leadership.

“We are working on the next evolution of Skate and we are going to deliver an experience that will embrace and build everything that our community found special about the previous game,” says the developer on his website. Based on the positions that Full Circle is trying to fill, the title is still in development. EA has not announced a release date for the next Skate game, nor has it said on which platforms you will be able to play it.
