EA challenges FIFA 21 Ultimate Team’s ‘real cost’ viral post and clarifies FUT’s premise

EA challenged a post on Twitter about the ‘true cost’ of a dream FUT team, saying Mirror Football they ‘challenge the premise of these theories’.

Last week, FIFA player ScudzTV started a topic on Twitter, which later went viral, which claimed to calculate the ‘true cost’ of obtaining a FIFA 21 Ultimate Team of ‘100 million dream coins’, which included eleven special FUT Icon players.

In response, EA has uniquely revealed its position on recent speculation for Mirror Football.

“We are aware that there has been recent speculation about what it takes to have a great FIFA Ultimate Team at EA SPORTS FIFA,” said an exclusive EA spokesman. Mirror Football.

“While we respect the effort and creativity to map possible paths to greatness, we challenge the premise of these theories.

“There are many assumptions made in the calculations.

“For example, you cannot accurately calculate how many currencies you would earn from trading, as that would depend on your skill as a trader.

“There are also other aspects of the game that contribute to the construction of your club, such as SBCs, Objectives and Draft, which should also be counted.

“So important, FIFA is a game of skill. The player’s skill is the biggest factor in the outcome of matches or challenges in FIFA – a strong player can succeed whether his team is bronze, silver, gold or a mix of all three .

“You don’t need the players with the highest score in the game to win.

“In the real world, no football club has the highest rated players in the world in each of the 11 positions.

“While it is possible to scale the” top 11 “in FUT if there is sufficient skill with a significant investment of time, it is certainly not intended or expected that players will scale a team like this.

“Saying the opposite disrespects the many players who spend their time learning and loving the game; mastering a skill move, set pieces, timed finish, field view / passing lanes; working their craft; building / tearing down / rebuilding their so many managers team up and working on the tactics to help them win.

“This is the magic and fun of the game for these players.

“Investment is a choice that players can make, just like in the real world. Some teams build through investment, and this is a choice for real-world sports owners, offices and managers, just as it is a choice at EA SPORTS FIFA.

“If the premise here is that players want the best players in the world on their team so they can improve, compete online and play against the best, they can do that at FIFA without any additional investment – you can play like Liverpool or Man City or PSG whenever you want.

“There is no single path to winning the league. There is no single path to the Champions League. There is no single path to the World Cup. And there is no single path to success at EA SPORTS FIFA.

“This is how it should be.”

The initial post of @ScudzTV, posted on March 16, was made after EA released a statement directly to Mirror Football, about FIFA professional players and how much they invest in the game.

“FIFA Ultimate Team is a multi-faceted game of skill,” EA told Mirror Football.

It is important to note that you can purchase all in-game items without ever spending money, and purchases are completely optional.

“Any professional competitive player needs to demonstrate the skills of the meta-game to be considered proficient enough to compete at the Elite level, which includes negotiation, monitoring the economy, squad rotation and completing challenges.”

Following this statement, FIFA player @ScudzTV he decided to analyze the numbers on his own and calculate the ‘true cost’ of how much time, or money, it would take to get his ‘dream’ FIFA 21 Ultimate Team.

In the initial tweet, @ScudzTV posted a photo of what would be his ‘dream team’ in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team.

The team featured 11 FUT icons, including Player Moments Ronaldo, Player Moments Pelé, Player Moments Ronaldinho and many more, you can check the team in the image below.

He then sought to ‘calculate’ how long, or how much money it might take, to get this team on FIFA 21 Ultimate Team.

“Let’s talk @EASPORTSFIFA”, said @ScudzTV.

“This is my dream team, a team of just 100 million coins. This is ‘achievable’ and here are my options according to you.

“1 – Play … 100 million game coins.

“Assuming an average of 1,500 coins per game (accounting for weekly rewards), there are only 66,666 games.

“At an average of 20 minutes per game, it’s just 22,000 hours of play or 916 days of play 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

“REALIST?

“2 – ‘monitoring the market’ … 100 million trading currencies.

“Assuming an average of 10,000 profit coins per transaction, I need to do a mere 10,000 transactions.

“Assuming that I trade 10,000 every 10 minutes, I will have to trade for 1,650 hours or 69 trading days 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

“REALIST??

“Spending £ £ £ … 100 million coins with FIFA Points.

“Assuming an average of 100,000 profit coins per 12,000 FIFA Points spent.

“I need to buy 1,000 x 12,000 FP. At a cost of £ 79.99 for 12,000, I will need to spend a total of £ 79,990 in FIFA Points.

“REALIST??”
