Dying Light 2 developer admits the game was announced too soon

Dying Light 2 PS5 PlayStation 5 1

After a prolonged period of absence – and some concerns raised about his work environment – Techland will release new details about the “development process” for Dying Light 2 as part of a stream next week. The update – announced on the game’s social media page – it seems that it will focus more on internal issues than on the game itself, although we should get a decent progress report.

Obviously, it’s been quite a while since we last saw the title in action, and many questioned what’s going on behind the scenes. However, a representative responded to a fan’s concerns, noting that the title is “far from in a development hell” and was simply announced “too soon”. Added: “Dying Light 2 keeps moving forward.”

The game was announced in 2018 and was scheduled to be released in 2020. Frankly, it still looks like it’s years behind schedule, but maybe next week’s update will shed some light when we can expect the undead sequence. Are you still looking forward to this title or has your interest soared over the years? Stay indoors at night in the comments section below.
