Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is still open to diving into politics.
During a 2017 appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, the star said she was “seriously considering” a candidacy for the presidency.
Nowadays, he is still alluding to a possible race with his new sitcom “Young Rock”, which chronicles his youth.
According to USA Today, each episode of the show features the star in mock interviews during a run for office in 2032.

Despite having years of projects lined up in Hollywood, the star has yet to rule out competing in the Oval Office.
“I would consider a presidential race in the future if that is what people want,” he told the vehicle. “Actually, I mean it, and I’m not irreverent at all with my answer. That would be up to the people … So, I would wait and listen.”

He further explained: “I would put my finger on my wrist, my ear on the floor.”
The 48-year-old actor is not known for talking about politics often, but he broke his own protocol last year by endorsing Joe Biden for president in his first public support for a candidate.

“As an Independent registered for years with centrist ideologies, I feel that Vice President Biden and Senator Harris are the best choice to lead our country and I am endorsing them to become President and Vice President,” said Johnson in an Instagram video in season.

After Biden’s victory, he shared another video on Instagram congratulating the president for the victory, admitting that he felt “moved” when the news came.
“The reason I was thrilled yesterday was because of what I felt my vote represented. I was talking to Lauren, my wife, we were talking about our two little girls and that is exactly what my vote represented,” he said at the time.

Johnson continued: “My vote represented my daughters, my vote represented humanity, my vote represented decency, it represented the values and principles that we teach our girls and my vote also, for me, represented the importance of being just a good person and decent human being and how important that is. “
