A year and a half after he was chosen in the first round, no one wants Dwayne Haskins. At least, not in your current contract.
Haskins, the former Washington quarterback, went through layoffs today. All 31 teams had the opportunity to claim it and all chose not to.
This does not necessarily mean that there is no team willing to hire Haskins, who is now a free agent. It just means that no one wants to pay him the more than $ 4 million guaranteed left over from his newbie contract. At a lower cost, someone can hire you.
Haskins was a major disappointment in Washington, which took him to 15th place last year. But Washington was far from the only team that had a lot of thought about Haskins joining last year’s recruitment, and one team is enough to think that it can still extract some of its undeniable talent.
