The “Prisoner” singer appeared on the late night show last night with a look that will surely catch your eye. For her costume, the British artist chose Moschino’s pre-fall collection of 21 in a corset-style brocade minidress. She then chose to echo the bold colors of the number with a pair of prominent boots.
The silhouette of tall, pointed fingers appeared at the top of a pointed front with reliefs inspired by crocodile skin at the top, reminiscent of a popular design from Paris, Texas. The must-have boots for the 2019 FNAA Emerging Talent Award winner have been sold at retail for $ 598 at Farfetch.com, but have since sold out across the web.
In another unmissable shoe look last week, Dua Lipa once again used her shoes to add a touch of color during her vacation in Mexico. The “Levitating” singer took a look at her tropical Instagram tour, posing next to a friend in a bold outfit combination. Taking advantage of the warm climate, Dua Lipa opted for a boyfriend shirt with tie front combined with a disco ball skirt that recalls Paco Rabanne’s designs; similar brand skirts feature chain-linked metallic sequins, retailed for $ 1,680 at Farfetch.com.
As if her costume was no longer worthy enough, the singer then hit Attico by a set of shiny heels. Surrounding his ankle and calf was a characteristic silhouette known as the Venus heel; the design is set on top of a pointed toe silhouette with a slingback support and a satin-coated finish. Balanced with a 4-inch tapered heel, the exclusive pumps in Dua Lipa’s choice of a colorful electric blue retail for $ 720 at Luisaviaroma.com.
In addition to a Grammy-winning music career (and an impressive six new nominations for the next 2021 Grammy Awards), Dua Lipa plunges her toes into the fashion world quite often. From sitting in lines at big fashion shows during fashion month to selecting bold pieces for red carpet appearances, she keeps things regularly exciting. The “Boys Will Be Boys” singer has appeared in campaigns for YSL Beauté and Fragrance, Adidas and Pepe Jeans among others.
Their sets and style are credited to celebrity stylist Lorenzo Posocco; Dua Lipa is Posocco’s main clientele, but he has also worked with Troye Sivan and Alex Demie in the past.
More recently, Dua Lipa has signed on as a Puma ambassador with a multi-year contract, as she acts as the face of the female business. Through her new title, the musician will aim to “help inspire women around the world” through worldwide efforts and “important inclusive initiatives at heart,” according to the company.
