‘Driver’s license’ leads global charts in 5th week

Chart ratings are based on a weighted formula that incorporates only official tiered streams of audio and video music services with ad and subscription support, as well as download sales, the latter reflecting purchases from full-service digital music retailers of the world, with sales of direct consumer sites (D2C) excluded from the calculations of the graphics.

‘License’ has the largest Global 200 domain

Olivia Rodrigo’s driver’s license tops the Billboard Global 200 with 78.8 million streams, the biggest streaming sum of the week (down 12%) and 24,000 sold (up 12%) worldwide in the week from February 5 to 11.

The singer’s, songwriter and actress single, initially known for her roles on Disney Channel’s Bizaardvark and Disney + ‘s High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, claims only the brand for the longest Global 200 command so far, overcoming Mariah Carey’s four-week reigns “All I Want for Christmas Is You” (December-January) and BTS ‘”Dynamite” (October-January).

Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” remains at No. 2 Global 200 and “Save Your Tears” climbs 4-3 for a new best rating. “Lights” attracted 61.7 million streams (an increase of 33%) and sold 38,000 (an increase of 194%), the best total sales of the week worldwide in the monitoring week. “Tears” recorded 58.9 million streams (up 36%) and sold 24,000 (up 114%) globally.

Cardi B’s “Up” is released in 4th place on the Global 200, with 53.7 million streams and 27,000 worldwide after its launch on February 5th. Previously, she qualified in the top five with “WAP” (with Megan Thee Stallion), who led the parade for three weeks in September and last October.

BTS’s “Dynamite” closes the top five of the Global 200, dropping 4-5.

Rodrigo, The Weeknd Also Take Top 3

Simultaneously, Olivia Rodrigo’s driving license crowns the Billboard Global Excl. US chart for the fifth week, with 52.2 million streams (down 11%) and 7,000 sold (down 14%) in territories outside the US in the February 5-11 follow-up week.

Weeknd’s “blinding lights” lift 3-2 at Global Excl. US chart, reaching a new high in the last ranking, and “Save Your Tears” jumps from 6-3, reaching the Global Excl. US top five for the first time. “Lights” rises with 42 million streams (+ 26%) and 11,000 sold (+ 151%) outside the US, while “Tears” rises with 38.9 million streams (+ 30%) and 10,000 sold (+ 73% ).

BTS’s “Dynamite” drops 2-4 at Global Excl. In the US chart, after an eight-week record in first place, and Bad Bunny and Jhay Cortez’s “Dákiti” dropped 4-5 after their five-week dominance.
