Square Enix will launch silver wedding rings based on Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Celestial Bride. The Circle of Fire and the Water Circle will be available in Japan on April 10, 2021. Although the Circle of Fire was originally used by the hero and the Water Circle by the bride in Dragon Quest V game, both rings can be worn by anyone, regardless of gender in real life. The rings are available in odd sizes from # 9 to # 23. (In the US sizes, this would be 5 to 11.)
To mark the start of orders for these rings, Square Enix is also distributing specially designed Japanese wedding registration forms. Two versions of the form are available. One has one Dragon’s missionstylish message box and another one doesn’t have the box to look more legit. These forms can be downloaded for free, but only for a limited period until February 1, 2021.
O Dragon’s mission The franchise is so big in Japan that even Luida’s Bar with an exclusive theme that people can visit. An attraction inspired by the series of games will also appear at the amusement park Nijigen no Mori on Awaji Island. The last title of the series, Dragon Quest XI S: Definitive Edition, is now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC worldwide.
Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Celestial Bride it was first released for Super Famicom (SNES) in September 1992 and PlayStation 2 in March 2004 in Japan. It is available worldwide on the Nintendo DS and on iOS and Android devices.
