Dr. Drew Pinsky test positive for COVID-19

Dr. Drew Pinsky tested positive for COVID-19 and is recovering at home.

According to an Instagram post shared on his account on Tuesday, Pinsky’s wife, Susan, was negative.

“Cheers for the New Year with a little Hydralyte for Covid-19. Drew tested positive on the 4th and @firstladyoflove tested negative ”, said the message.

Pinsky is “feeling better”, according to the post.

“Drew is at home, under surveillance and a low fever. … Drew is feeling better and, thankfully, he’ll be fine soon, ”concluded the message.

In a separate video posted on Tuesday on his Instagram page, Pinsky also addressed a previous tweet that drew social media ire over the line, “Wishing for Covid”.

“I put on Twitter that I was … wanting a positive test for COVID because I had a terrible acute febrile illness and my test was negative and if I didn’t have COVID, I had acute lymphocytic leukemia, which I didn’t want because it’s the only thing that would do what was happening to me, ”said Pinsky.

“And then COVID would explain everything very well and we have so many good treatments now for COVID, I was hoping for that and I look forward to immunity on the other side of it,” he continued.

On Monday, Pinsky originally tweeted: “After three days of fever and Zelenko’s protocol plus steroids, feeling better and doing another test for flu and Covid! Good times. Wishing Covid that this virus is no fun. Be well, wear a mask! “

The radio personality also captured the moment when he took the COVID-19 test.

Earlier this year, Pinsky was criticized after comparing the coronavirus with the flu.

“My first comments about equating the coronavirus with the flu were wrong. They were incorrect, ”said Pinsky in April.

There were 19.4 million cases of coronavirus in the United States and 336,000 deaths.
