DOOM Eternal will trigger its second DLC episode later this month

DOOM Eternal PS4

DOOM Eternal has yet another DLC episode to launch in its post-launch campaign The Ancient Gods, and we’ll find out a little about that on March 15, 2021. Bethesda confirmed the fall of the teaser trailer after the expansion’s list of achievements leaked on weekend, which indicated that this presumably final drop in content is close to launch. The key art you see above accompanied the ad, which features the popular DOOM Slayer facing all kinds of deadly monsters. We now have a whole week to wait before id Software shares more information.

This second part of the DLC is supposed to be built on the surprising revelation of the ending to DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods – Part One. We thoroughly appreciate that expansion of the already excellent base game, rewarding it with a great 8/10 in the analysis of Push Square and stating that it is “much more of the best PS4 FPS”. We have even more of this action to kill hell to come, then.

There’s a lot more coming from the DOOM series this month, however, as Doom 3: VR Edition launches for PlayStation VR on March 29, 2021. A surprising announcement of Sony’s latest PSVR lineup reveals that it will come with expansions and enhancements designed for virtual reality. Don’t forget that we also have a native update from PlayStation 5 to DOOM Eternal on the way, probably to be released sometime this year. A free PS4 update will be offered to those who already own the game. How much DOOM will you consume in March? Massacre the legions of hell in the comments below.
