Donald Trump is creating his own social media network that will go live in a few months

Jason Miller, a longtime consultant and spokesman for Trump’s 2020 campaign, told Howard Kurtz on Fox’s “MediaBuzz” that Trump “will return to social media in probably two or three months”. He added that Trump’s return will be with “his own platform”, which will attract “tens of millions” of new users and “completely redefine the game”.

“This is something that I think will be the hottest ticket on social media,” Miller told Kurtz. “This will completely redefine the game, and everyone will be waiting and watching to see what President Trump does, but it will be his own platform.”

Miller said during his appearance on Fox News that the former president has been approached by several companies and is talking to teams about the new platform.

“This new platform will be great,” said Miller on Sunday. “Everyone wants him and he is going to bring millions and millions – tens of millions – to this platform.”

The announcement came after Trump was permanently suspended from Twitter and other social platforms, such as Facebook, after his incitement to U.S. Capitol riots on January 6 – where hundreds of Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol building, leaving five dead.
After Trump’s ban on Twitter, Jared Kushner, the former president’s son-in-law and senior adviser, stepped in when other advisers tried to put Trump on marginal social media platforms like Parler and Gab.
