Dominion Voting Systems spokesman Michael Steel said on Sunday that MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell is “begging to be prosecuted” for spreading unsubstantiated allegations of widespread electoral fraud in the 2020 election and accusing Dominion of being an accomplice.
Brian Stelter of CNN asked Steel about “Trusted sources” if and when additional lawsuits were expected from the voting systems firm, which has already sued pro-Trump attorney Sidney Powell and the former President Trump

“I’m not here to report on that front,” replied Steel. “But let me say that Mike Lindell is begging to be sued and, at some point, we might as well serve you.”
Trump and his allies, including Lindell, had made accusations against Dominion for months, claiming, without providing evidence, that the company was responsible for changing votes in the presidential race to benefit President Biden.
Dominion has already threatened Lindell, along with several others, with “imminent” legal action, accusing the CEO of having “positioned [himself] as a prominent leader of the ongoing disinformation campaign “that the fraud led to the loss of Trump.

“I think he is trying to anticipate the fact that he is spreading misinformation, spreading lies,” Steel told CNN. “This latest ‘documentary’ that he exhibited is nothing more than the same old, poorly crafted conspiracy theories. And the truth is to achieve it. ”
MyPillow did not immediately return a request for comment.
Dominion filed separate $ 1.3 billion defamation lawsuits against Powell and Giuliani last month and said there was more to come. Its rival company Smartmatic filed a $ 2.7 billion lawsuit against Giuliani, Powell, Fox News and some Fox News presenters last week.
For spreading the claims, Lindell was permanently suspended from Twitter and several stores selling MyPillow products, such as Kohl’s and Bed Bath & Beyond, stopped offering them.
