Dominic Smith, in his second early spring, fired a solo home run in the fourth round of the Mets 6-1 victory over the Astros in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Not yet

Francisco Lindor is still looking for his first hit of the spring after scoring 0 out of 3 against the Astros. The All-Star shortstop has no strikes in six attempts.

Caught my eye

The Mets brought the entire starting line-up to work behind Jacob deGrom, with the exception of Brandon Nimmo, who remained at Port St. Lucie. Kevin Millar started in the center field with Albert Almora Jr. on the left. Nimmo will play Sunday, according to Luis Rojas.

Sunday Schedule

Marcus Stroman is scheduled to start against the Marlins at Port St. Lucie. Jeurys Familia and Aaron Loup are among the other pitchers on the Mets schedule.
