The long search for the Dolphins’ offensive coordinator resulted in the promotion of two assistants to share the work.

Dolphins coach Brian Flores promoted running back coach Eric Studesville and quarterback coach George Godsey to co-offensive coordinator titles, according to several reports.

There is no word yet on which one will end the pieces.

The most important job for the co-offensive coordinators will be to develop an attack around Tua Tagovailoa, the one chosen from the first round of 2020 who had a reasonable year as a novice defender. The Dolphins have made it clear that they believe in Tagovailoa as the quarterback of the franchise of the future, and now we will see if there is an offense in Miami where Tagovailoa can thrive.
