Costco will be offering COVID-19 vaccines in the coming days, but there are a number of speed reducers that are likely to delay you from taking one.
What is happening?
Costco said he will administer COVID-19 vaccines when they become available. People can schedule appointments on the Costco website.
Costco will supply COVID-19 vaccines at locations in these five states:
California
New York
Oregon
Puerto Rico
South Carolina
-
South Carolina locations will appear only when available. Fox Business reported that the Charleston and Mount Pleasant locations offered vaccines.
Washington
-
Washington locations were not listed on the Costco website. However, Fox Business reports that vaccines will be distributed in “Clarkston, Kennewick, Wenatchee, Sequim, Tukwila, Silverdale, Bonney Lake, Gig Harbor, Puyallup, Tacoma, Burlington, Everett, Lynnwood, Marysville, Woodinville, Spokane, Lacey, Tumwater, Bellingham and Union Gap. “
Yet …
Costco members don’t have a chance to sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine. The company said it has only a limited amount of vaccines available. Distribution will follow the guidelines for each state where you can distribute.
What about Utah?
Costco will not distribute doses of vaccines in Utah. Smith’s and Walmart pharmacies will be offering free vaccines for Utahns who are eligible for COVID-19 injections, according to Deseret News.
Those who are eligible can book appointments online at 39 different Smith’s pharmacies (there are 53 in Utah in total), and at 18 of the 59 Walmart pharmacies and at Sam’s Club pharmacy in Logan.
