Divison 2 will receive an update next week, bringing 4K resolution and 60 frames per second support for next-generation consoles. The novelty was revealed in a user tweet JohanLnh, a developer from the Ubisoft community for Division 2.
Johan was responding to a fan asking about the potential for a future ‘State of the Game’, which is where Division 2 developers participate in a live stream to provide fans with updates about the game.
“No situation tomorrow,” says the tweet. “TU12.1 will launch on February 2 with the Resident Evil Apparel event, a rebalancing of the Optimization Station cost, as well as support for 4K 60 FPS for next generation consoles.”
The update will also feature some special Resident Evil clothing items, including weapon skins, arm patches and clothing. This is part of a collaborative promotion that will take place from February 2nd to 15th.
