A widespread Internet crash affected Spectrum customers across Maine on Monday night.
“We are aware of an issue affecting services right now for Spectrum customers in Maine,” tweeted Spectrum just before 6pm. “We are working diligently to restore your service as quickly as possible and we apologize for any inconvenience. Thanks for your patience.”
The cause of the interruption is unknown.

In a previous tweet, Spectrum estimated that the internet service would be restored at around 10 pm.
