Alert Disneyland fans! We have information for you on how Disneyland will handle ticket sales for the reopening on April 30 and beyond. We also have information on which attractions will be open, hotel reservations, restaurant reservations and more.
These are breaking news and we are updating with additional information.
That’s when Disneyland tickets go on sale
First, to access Disneyland, guests will need a valid ticket AND a theme park reservation. Guests from 3 years old need a valid ticket and a reservation for the same day. There will be two different dates for the resumption of ticket sales. Who already has valid tickets and who wants to purchase new tickets:
- EXISTING TICKET HOLDERS: For holders of valid tickets purchased before the park closes on March 14, you can book your admission on April 12th. On April 9th, you will be able to check online the days available for your ticket (s). Tickets will go on sale before 8 am, so you should start checking in at that time. The expiration dates for most tickets have been recently extended and you can find more information on the Disneyland ticket page.
- NEW TICKETS: For those who wish to purchase new tickets, sales will begin April 15th. Tickets will go on sale before 8am. As soon as they do, we hope that popular dates will sell out quickly.
There are no restrictions on the number of days a guest can book at one time, but guests will be limited to 10 tickets in total per booking. Until further notice, only California residents will be able to purchase tickets.
Disney theme park ticket prices
Prices will not change from what they were when the theme parks closed in 2020. Here is the previous price structure that we believe will still be in place.
Park-hopping changes
Good news. Park-hopping WILL BE available. However, it will work a little differently. You will not be able to change parks before 1pm.
MaxPass / FastPass
MaxPass and FastPass will NOT be available at first. However, a virtual queuing system will be used to increase resistance.
How to make a reservation for a theme park
You will visit Disneyland.com. If you don’t have tickets, you’ll need to buy them first. If you have multiple tickets to book, you will need to create a “Party”. Then, follow the procedures for making a park reservation.
Hotel reservations
Grand Californian Hotel reservations will resume April 15th. However, having a reservation does not guarantee entry to the parks. You will still need to book your ticket and make a park reservation separately.
Theme park hours for BOTH Disneyland and California Adventure
After reopening, Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park’s daily schedule is currently scheduled to be from 9am to 7pm. Visit Disneyland.com to see the opening hours on the day you want to visit, as it is subject to change.
Disneyland and California Adventure Attractions Opening April 30
This is a bit fluid, but those are the attractions that we hope to open in both parks on the opening day.

Disney Parking Information
Use the Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals parking structures to park at theme parks. Parking at Downtown Disney will continue to be available at the parking lot near the Pixar Pier Hotel.
Disneyland Dining
Meal reservations will be available on April 22 (available 60 days before your theme park reservation)
Parks will continue to promote the mobile app for mobile orders, menus and even contactless payments.
Pass holder information
There are no special ticket offers or reservation windows for Legacy Pass holders. Disneyland is working on a future affiliation program, events and special opportunities, but that information is not yet available. Follow the procedures above to book a ticket and reserve a park.
