Disney World Modifies Mask Policy for Restaurants – Deadline

Disney World once again updated its face mask policy, saying that restaurant visitors should wear their masks while “standing, waiting or sitting”.

The theme park updated its protocols several times during the pandemic. But the face mask policy for restaurants was not specific, aside from the warning that visitors keep their masks up, unless they “eat actively while they are standing” in the parks and Disney Springs.

“Facial covers for each guest 2 years of age or older, which should be used in all public areas and can only be removed while you are actively eating or drinking,” says the policy on the Disney World website. “Facial covers should be used while standing, waiting or sitting in restaurants.”

The mask policy also applies to those who have been vaccinated against Covid-19.

The Disneyland theme park remains closed, although the retail and restaurant areas are open with capacity restrictions.
