While President Joe Biden began his term in the White House on Wednesday, his image was also being installed in the Disney World Hall of Presidents.
The Hall of Presidents was listed as “closed for renovation” on the Walt Disney World Resort website on Wednesday, which coincided with Biden’s opening. A park spokesman said the renovation will include adding a Joe Biden character “Audio-Animatronics” to the attraction.
Additional details about the character Biden were not immediately available.

The educational attraction, located at Disney’s Magic Kingdom park, features moving, animatronic audio replicas of all the presidents of the United States, as well as three “huge” digital projection screens.
Disney updated the Hall of Presidents with new presidents at the start of their respective terms. The attraction included speeches recorded by the presidents themselves since Bill Clinton in 1993.

It was not clear how long the renovation could take. The Disney website shows “no time available” for visitors to visit the Hall of Presidents until at least March. When President Trump took office in 2017, Disney World debuted its image along with updates to the show and some finishing touches in the lobby the following December.
Visitors to the Hall of Presidents can watch a 25-minute show that describes the history of the founding of the United States and key points in the history of the United States, with famous speeches by presidents such as Abraham Lincoln and John F. Disney began developing its Audio-Animatronics figures in the 1960s, debuting a character by Abraham Lincoln at the 1964 New York World’s Fair. The Hall of Presidents was one of Disney World’s first attractions when it opened in 1971.
