The interrupt tracker Downdetector reported that some users were experiencing technical problems shortly after midnight Pacific Time.

Disney + had technical problems with some users in the early hours of Friday morning, while people rushed to see the latest Marvel episode WandaVision.

Interruption tracking website Downdetector reported a huge increase in user-submitted issues with Disney +, from zero reported issues to more than 8,000 just after midnight, when the new episode crashed. Downdetector reported that most outages occurred on the West Coast, with clusters centered around Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle.

At the same time, there were also thousands of tweets about the Disney + outage and the inability to watch episode seven of WandaVision.

The technical problems seemed short-lived, with many of the users reporting problems with the Downdetector, providing updates that they were able to broadcast the program again ten to fifteen minutes later.

The Hollywood Reporter contacted Disney to comment on technical problem reports.
