Disney reveals first look at Tom Holland’s role in new Spider-Man attraction at Disneyland

This is the real Spider-Man.

As Disney continues to work on its new Marvel-themed terrain, the Avengers Campus, more and more concepts are being revealed. Recently, the company showed a familiar face for its Spider-Man themed tour.

Disney revealed a first look at Tom Holland and his role in the attraction Worldwide Engineering Brigade (WEB) on the Disney Parks Blog. Holland is reprising his role as Peter Parker in the popular “Avengers” film series.

The tour itself is called Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure.

RETIRED DISNEY IMAGINATOR CLAIMS “GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY WALK” WAS ALMOST ANYTHING ENTIRELY

At first glance, Holland describes the visit to the Avengers Campus. He jokes: “When I first came in, playing Spider-Man, I went to the Avengers Headquarters and it was just a bunch of green screens.”

He continues to explain the story behind the tour, saying that Peter Parker has invented a new web-based creation and is showing riders when something goes wrong. Tom Holland, like Peter Parker, will guide the pilots through an adventure that, according to him, will make them feel like Spider-Man.

According to the Disney Parks Blog, the tour will incorporate body movements and gestures. By wearing special glasses, pilots will be able to experience the experience of throwing webs from their wrists while the battle malfunctions Spider-Bots.

Fox News previously reported that Disney has confirmed that the new Avengers Campus will launch in 2021 at its California theme park. The company made the announcement in a recent email to Disney’s D23 fan club.

The Avengers Campus, based on popular comic book and movie characters, was originally scheduled to open in mid-July last year. Unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic forced Disney to cancel those plans. Until this recent announcement, it had not been confirmed that the Marvel-themed park area would open in 2021.
