Disney MagicMobile services are already being deployed not only for Apple devices, but also for the MyDisneyExperience app, which drives Walt Disney World visitors to activate new features

With the MagicMobile services announced just a few days ago, guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort now have an option on the MyDisneyExperience app to “interact in incredible ways” to enhance their visit to the park with their mobile device via Bluetooth.

Once inside a Disney World theme park, visitors are greeted with the message “Enhance your visit to the park with messages and experiences with your phone’s wireless technology” in My Disney Experience. Here, guests will see an option to enable Bluetooth on their mobile devices, if it is not already enabled.

As soon as Bluetooth is enabled, visitors should receive messages and be offered “unique experiences” related to the park they are in. No other details have been given for this feature yet.

Strangely, we received this warning on a non-Apple device, despite Disney declaring that MagicMobile will be launched first for Apple users. We suspect that some services will, but guests with any type of device will begin to notice new features coming on board in the coming weeks.
