Disney California Adventure to offer ‘ticket experience’ with food, merchandise and entertainment

Disney’s California Adventure Park plans to reopen for a “limited time ticket experience” next month.

The news of this special event comes straight from a letter sent to cast members by Disneyland president Ken Potrock on Monday, which also coincided with the park’s 20th anniversary.

The exact date for the return was not provided in the letter, but park executives predict that their event will take place in March at some point.

“Currently planned to start in mid-March, we will debut an entirely new limited-time ticket experience, focused on our world-famous food and beverage offerings throughout the resort, the latest merchandise and exclusive and carefully crafted entertainment experiences” . Potrock’s letter said.

A representative of The Walt Disney Company confirmed to FOX Business that the event is not a theme park experience due to current coronavirus regulations set by the state of California. The attractions will not be in operation, however, guests will be welcomed into a new experience that has capacity limits and improved health and safety measures.

About 1,000 cast members will be able to return to work thanks to this new box office experience and the recently reopened Buena Vista Street, which extended the Downtown Disney District, an open-air shopping center that offers dining and entertainment options.
