Today’s Dealmaster is marked by a series of Mario game sales for the Nintendo Switch. The deals come as part of Nintendo’s annual “Mario Day” event, which the video game company uses to celebrate its most beloved plumber, go-kart driver, golfer, boxing referee, typing instructor, medicine supplier and versatile mascot . The real “holiday” arrives on Wednesday – March 10 = March 10 = Mario, you see – but sales of several Switch games in the Mario universe are available during the week.
The event reduces several recommended games to $ 39, including Switch Essential Super Mario Odyssey, the digital board game Super Mario Party, the adorable adventure game Luigi’s Mansion 3, the set of course creation tools that is Super Mario Maker 2, the multiplayer game of tennis and fighting Mario Tennis Aces, and the most traditional 2D platform game New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe.
Other Switch games, like Yoshi’s handmade world, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Super Mario 3D All-Stars, and Paper Mario: The Origami King it happens to have discounts at some retailers too, although not all are part of Nintendo’s official sale. Regardless, most of these transactions take about $ 10-15 from the normal street prices we saw online.
Offers do not include popular titles like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or the most recent Mario launch, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser Fury, and they don’t represent the lowest prices we’ve seen for each game. Considering that some of the discounted games are between 3 and 4 years old, we would like the regular prices to be closer to these selling prices more regularly. But huge discounts on original Nintendo games have been rare since the launch of the Switch, so if you’re interested in any of the titles on sale, these offers still bring a better value than we see most of the year. We will also note that while Nintendo has discounted some of these games in its own digital eShop, those who apply a digital code from an external reseller can redeem more Gold points for future eShop purchases.
If your Switch game portfolio is already overflowing, our round of business also includes sales of recommended USB-C chargers, board games and internal security cameras, the Apple Watch Series 6 and more. You can check the full summary below.
