Did the globe cameras catch Al Pacino taking a nap? You decide

If you ask us, the 2021 Golden Globe broadcast was filled with memorable moments, but it is not clear whether Al Pacino would agree.

Footage of the iconic 80-year-old actor, nominated for Best Actor in a Drama TV Series for his role in the Amazon film hunters, went viral after social media users started debating whether Al had fallen asleep while waiting for his category.

A bit before The crownin Josh O’Connor won the prize, the camera showed the five nominees, and Al seemed to have closed his eyes or was looking down until he suddenly looked forward and to the center with a bump.

“you just had to wake Al Pacino from his nap, huh”, a social media user tweeted.

A different individual shared, “Al Pacino sleeping at #GoldenGlobes is the most I have ever related to a celebrity.”

Another user posted, “Al Pacino was definitely sleeping on this #GoldenGlobes zoom call.”

Al did not comment publicly on the viral moment. Jason Bateman (Ozark), Bob Odenkirk (Better to call Saul) and Matthew Rhys (Perry Mason) were the other nominees in the category.
