(Spirit Lake) – The Dickinson County Department of Public Health announced today (Friday) that it will follow the state’s plan to move on to the next phase of COVID-19 vaccinations.
From February 1, those at level 1 of group 1B will begin receiving the vaccine. This includes those aged 65 and over, first responders, including firefighters, police and social workers, along with staff from pre-primary school through grade 12, early childhood education and child assistants.
A press release from the Dickinson County Department of Public Health says plans for vaccination clinics are being determined and that those eligible to receive the vaccine will receive calls or emails in advance so they can schedule appointments.
The statement says Dickinson County has received an average of 200 doses of the vaccine a week.
