COLOMBIA, SC (WOLO) – The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control released the state’s latest coronavirus figures on Sunday.
DHEC reports 779 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 and eight additional deaths in the state of Palmetto. This makes the total number of confirmed cases 437,018 with 7,417 deaths in total.

DHEC claims to have received 23,892 molecular test results from the last test period, which produced a positive rate of 4.6%.
According to the secretariat, 770,742 doses of the vaccine against coronavirus have already been administered in the state.
