Devin White de Bucs riding “victory lap” around Raymond James Stadium

Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Devin White celebrated the team’s victory in the Super Bowl LV with his personal talent on Wednesday.

White rode a horse around Raymond James Stadium.

“Victory lap,” he told the camera before galloping his horse from the side while holding the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

The video was posted to the Buccaneers’ Twitter account.

White was part of the Tampa Bay’s star-studded defense that kept the Kansas City Chiefs with just nine points on Sunday. White had a Super Bowl interception and a division round game against the New Orleans Saints. He totaled 38 tackles in three playoff games and two fumble recoveries.

Before his debut season in 2019, White mourned the loss of his beloved horse Daisy Mae. He posted dozens of photos on Facebook of him riding the horse and reflected on the time he spent with her.

He wrote on Facebook: “I never thought I would post something this early, I was in tears for over 10 hours, everyone knows the love I have for” Daisy Mae “and the passion with which I care for her, Many of you must already to know that my little girl left this beautiful world last night, but she struggled a lot and I want to thank everyone who was with us every step of the way, she was very dehydrated and overheated !! She wanted to be with me, but God had other plans, RIP To My 1st Love.

“1 year was not enough, I had bigger plans for us in this world and I am heartbroken! Thanks for all the love and concerns’ LOVE DEVIN & DAISY.”

White mentioned his love of horses in the past. He said his passion for animals started when he was about 5 years old and saw people riding in his hometown, Springhill, Louisiana.

“I feel like I’m in heaven on earth when I’m with my horses. No distractions, no phones, no football,” he said in 2019, via NCAA.com. “Just me and my horse, we are taking a walk and working to improve. Because at the end of the day, my horse has to improve too. Because my horse has to work with a certain weight. So, if I accept a day off, my horse starts to miss. So I have to keep him updated. “
