Devin McCourty, a New England Patriots defender, said on Friday that it was “incredible” to watch his former teammates Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski play for another Super Bowl, but “bittersweet”.
Brady and Gronkowski joined for several appearances in the Super Bowl as members of the Patriots. But the 2020 season found these two great players at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, leading the team to its second title appearance.

McCourty was the last Patriots player to support Brady and Gronkowski.
Julian Edelman tweeted a goat emoji after the NFC championship.
Robert Kraft told CBS Boston that he will be rooting for Brady.
“I’m rooting for Tom Brady,” said Kraft. “I am so excited. We had great communications and he is a special human being.
