Devin McCourty asks Kyle Van Noy after patriots return

After a quick stop in South Beach, Kyle Van Noy is back with the Patriots.

Van Noy is expected to return to New England on a two-year contract. The veteran linebacker played more than three seasons in Foxboro between 2016 and 2019 before leaving New England as a free agency last year. Van Noy Dolphins’ tenure proved to be short-lived, however, as he was released by Miami after a season a week before the official start of the free NFL agency.

Perhaps the Patriots have Devin McCourty in part to thank Van Noy for his return to New England. The star’s safety suggested so much when he replied to the video of the advertising campaign that Van Noy launched on Wednesday night.

“I’ll let you know where to send my .5% -Dmac,” tweeted McCourty.

McCourty probably has no future as an agent, as he is not doing himself any favors at this low rate.

Van Noy is not the only player who has returned to New England this season, after short stints elsewhere. The Patriots’ reported trade to Trent Brown preceded a flurry of free agent hires, which included a Ted Karras meeting.
