The switch can only have Disaster report 4: summer memories in April, but the developer of the Granzella series has apparently started work on the fifth game.
In a retrospective article from 2020 on its official website, the end of a section on the fourth game discusses the fifth title. It is referred to as “partial planning and prototyping” for Disaster report 5 already started and to “expect” more news in the future. Here is the full message:

According to information I acquired from sources, I cannot disclose, planning and partial prototyping for Disaster report 5 it seems to have already started.
As for whether “Stiver Island” (Capital Island) is involved in the story or not this time … I’ll leave it at that because I prefer not to lose my job.

As noted by Gematsu, it is not the first time that Granzella necessarily provokes the fifth game, but it is the most official one so far.
Disaster report 4: Summer memories has many references to a fifth entry – including the ability to change the title screen to read “Disaster report 5?“- so it’s no surprise to know that a fifth game is on its way.
