Developer Bayonetta 3 provides update on Nintendo Switch game

2020 was the year that many thought we could finally start listening and seeing more Bayonetta 3 for Nintendo Switch. Well, as you know, the year came and went without any substantial updates to the project. Fortunately, this is not necessarily something to worry about, as they say the work on the game is still going smoothly.

In a new update for PlatinumGames Hideki Kamiya given to Famitsu, it was said that it would work on Bayonetta 3 is still in progress and the game is going well. “First of all, many people are concerned with Bayonetta 3 whereas there has been no new information since its announcement, but checks on new systems are going very well and development is going very well, so please wait with peace of mind, ”Kamiya made it clear. This message is similar to the update the studio gave last year on the title.

The Platinum team has stated many times over the years that Bayonetta 3 is in a good place with its development, apparently indicating that the game may have only been revealed very early. For those who don’t remember, the title was first revealed at The Game Awards in 2017. Since that time, however, no additional gameplay footage or trailer has been shown, leading to a three-year break with nothing new to come out. .

That said, maybe 2021 is finally prove to be different. For now, we don’t know what Nintendo really planned to release over the course of the year, which means the game could go anywhere if it is finally ready to be released. Before that happened, however, you could imagine that we would start to see some more images of the game, perhaps on a Nintendo Direct that the publisher could have in the coming months.

For now, everything we know about Bayonetta 3 for sure is that when it is released, it will be exclusive to Nintendo Switch. If you want to keep up to date with the game, you can continue to follow all of our coverage here.
