Detailed video evaluation of Insta360 GO 2’s tiny action camera

There is a new winner in town for the smallest action camera. Or, at least, the smallest action camera from a brand you’ve probably heard of. Although Insta360 has a more pronounced history in the 360 ° action camera market, in recent years they have started to direct more and more efforts towards non-360 ° single lens cameras. And today’s ad doubles down on its previous tiny camera with an equally small camera, but now with more specs.

The case will remind you of an AirPods case, whereby the camera here can come out and be used without the case. It will still connect to your phone and send you a preview of the video, if you want. Or you can use the box as a remote control. However, as expected, size means a significantly reduced battery for the camera – only about 30 minutes. While the case can recharge it for another 150 minutes (2.5 hours), allowing you to keep it semi-constantly charged. You can use the camera in the case, which is frankly easier to hold.

Now, like last week’s DJI FPV analysis, this analysis will be focused on video, since … well … it’s a video camera. Also, it tends to be where that type of content is best for me. In addition, it frees me to go out and finish my SRM X MTB test for my analysis the next day or so … among other endurance sports technologies.

So, if you are looking for details about that camera, or … about how to scale the action camera via Haribo, hit the play button above. Within it, I divided it into nine main sections, which you can find using the YouTube chapter option at the bottom of the video, they are:
